This very rare Allard 21Z has enjoyed the same owner since 1973.The owner embarked on a full ,extensive ,and complete restoration in 2010 finishing in 2015.The owner wanted to travel with the car so during the restoration he installed a 307 Chevy Small Block bored 40 over. The engine had a complete rebuild before restoration. The rear end was changed out to a Ford positrac with high gears for highway travel .In addition he installed a 14 gallon gas tank to work along side the factory saddle tanks. The transmission is a rebuilt Borg Warner 5 speed.
Not a bolt was left unturned, everything got restored, one can discern from the pictures of the components that this statement is correct. Air Conditioning was also installed as well as all new wiring harness..
Since the body is aluminum there is no rust nor is there any rust or evidence of accident history on the tubular frame.
This is a rare piece that has been handled with love and care by the same party for FIFTY TWO years ! It is now time to pass the torch to the next caregiver of this fabulous and rare Allard.
