The Jaguar S Type - the 1960's saloon that set the benchmark for comfort!

This is a car that carved a unique niche for itself even though Jaguar built around 25000 of them.

The S Type was a technically more sophisticated development of the Jaguar Mark 2, offering buyers a more luxurious alternative to the Mark 2 but without the size and expense of the Mark X.

The original Jaguar 'S'-type attracts a small but dedicated group of owners who appreciate the style of this luxurious compact saloon. The 'S'-type is slowly gaining recognition throughout the Jaguar world, as more fully restored cars appear at various events and people recognise their worth.

This car was owned by personal friends of ours for many years. Sadly, the owner passed away a few years back now and his lovely Missus took care of it since. So we know the car relatively well through personal connections and the Jaguar Club. Car comes with many historic records and is still on its original black plates.
These cars had the best handling in the world when they came out - nothing could match up to them then and they're still a dream to drive today.
This is a very stylish and sporty example that is a great choice for the enthusiast looking for an iconic classic Jaguar saloon.
