2286cc, petrol. This green 2.25-litre Land Rover Series 2A received a comprehensive rebuild on a galvanised chassis by a Land Rover specialist in 2019 at a cost of around £10,000, and has been driven less than 100 miles since. It has been with its present owner since 2013, and a BMIHT heritage certificate confirms that it was originally sold by a dealer in Nottingham, with a build date of 15th February 1968. It was first registered on 1st April that year.

In addition to the galvanised chassis, the recent rebuilt work included a refurbished bulkhead, parabolic springs and a new starter motor. A new fuel pump has also recently been fitted. Today the odometer is showing 90,442 miles.

Paperwork includes MoT certificates from 2007 to 2019, current and previous V5Cs, a reproduction handbook and various older invoices – including the invoice which itemises the 2019 rebuild. Following the rebuild the Land Rover received an advisory-free MoT, which has since expired (although it is now exempt from requiring one). Also with the Land Rover are a set of spare keys, starting handle (unused), a spare radiator grille and a new flasher unit. The vendor informs us that the flashers are not currently working.
