This 3.5-litre V8 manual SD1 has been with its present owner since 1997, and was registered to his brother-in-law from 1990. It was first registered on 10th May 1977 and today there are 63k miles on the clock. The car comes with a selection of old MOT certificates going back to the 1990s and an old-style V5 in the vendor's name.

The vendor has supplied a long list of completed works that include an engine rebuild using +25 pistons, ‘street’ cam and new hydraulic lifters, as well as restorative work such as new panels, sill welding and a respray (although some of the panels are blistering). Various upgrades to standard spec include a twin-choke Holley carburettor with Edelbrock inlet manifold, oil cooler, large-core radiator with Kenlowe fan and additional electric fan, stainless exhaust, Spax adjustable suspension all round and lowered springs. There are no receipts to confirm this, but the vendor-supplied list is in the history file.

We're also told it has recently received new clutch slave and master cylinders, two new front tyres and a new battery, although again there is no paperwork to confirm this.

Despite this attention, the car has not been MOT tested for a few years so it is being sold as a project for recommissioning. The vendor informs us that some of the lights are not working, which he suspects may be due to water ingress.
